Post by: J4M3S on 07 June 2010, 19:37
Hi guys, currently working through my list of faults :undecided: apparently the o/s drive shaft is touching the arb, can anyone tell me what i need to replace to sort this? also im going to replace the cam cover gasket tomorrow, just wondered the best way to remove the metal clips from the coil packs?
thanks in advance

would you think its a good idea to renew the drop links as well, or just the arb bushes?

I would say do all the bushes if you can in one go, as it is worth getting the tracking redone.

i have the same problem on the drivers side. I fitted some adjustable drop lines and increased the length by 25mm, but when i checked them to day the shaft is touchin the ARB, im am bukd to have my coilovers fitted at the end ov the week, will this only get worst, or stay the same (the drop links are slightly bent, but i feel that if i tighten them il only snap the bolts!? they seem tighter thanmy wheel bolts! lol
