I have some how lost the socket to remove my wheels.
Its got round bolts with three pins in the center.
Has any one had the same problem.....how the hell do i get them off?
-
bang a 16 or 17mm socket over and remove that way.
or get another key and remove 2 of the pins that are in it so the remaining poin fits into one of your holes
these are crap locking wheel nuts, had same happen to me, now use mcguard ones
-
Try Kell's method or they will probably need to be drilled out.
As far as I know, they're standard locking nuts that you get from VW. Proper crap, those holes widen themselves after you put/take off the bolts a few times. Then the key keeps spinning, without pushing the nut
Yeah, McGuard ftw :)
-
Remove outer shell with small chisel them smash a
17mm impact socket over the top and wind out job done
-
drilling them out is hard work
just wack a socket over them, should have no problem getting them out
