Title: Mk3 GTI seat refurb

hey guys,i got a set of gti seats on deposit down the local scrappy, there in great shape but where they have been sat in the car at the scrappy there gunna need a huge cleanup and i was wondering what you lot would advise to get them nice and clean again?

Well, im sure the cosmetics guys will have all sorts of product names to throw at you but i reckon some warm soapy water and a decent scrub will bring em up lovely!! :wink:

Could have jet washed them and left them out if the sun was still here, but wallpaper strippers are meant to be good.

well i got front & back seats (5 door) for £50 as ive said where they have been sat in the car down the scrappy for so long with the windows down there looking abit grungy abit of damp and mold on them but not alot.

Vax with warm dilute citrus cleaner, works a treat and your seats smell of orange :smiley:

go to asda etc and buy some carpet cleaner foam stuff like Vanish etc and get busy with it

will come up a treat

Thanks guys, looking forward to gettin them cleaned up & fitted, will they require any modding to fit or will they striaght fit my GL?
