Title: handbrake surround

quick question, how do you take off the handbrake surround (non leather)? tried pulling it off but it doesn't budge

If its the hard plastic sorta thing where your hand goes to release handbrake look underneath theres a little tab that you pull out with little flat blade and slides off.

are you sure? that little tab doesn't seem to come out? seems as though it will just break off if i prise it out with a flat bladed screwdriver... :undecided:
