Title: MK4 CD player

Hello,

I have just brought a MK4 Golf GTI, and the only thing that doesnt work is the cd player, I have tried copy CD and a proper cd from the shop, but it doesnt seem to work,

The light is on for the CD player, I put one in and then it just chucks is back out,

Anyone got any ideas why this is?

hey dude iv had the same problem with the mk5, seems no one has replied with other help i guess you just take it too the garage :) the mk5 one is a totaly diferent type of radio soo soryyy

If it doesnt work I have one for sale (not VW, aftermarket) Let me know if you want more info. Oh and welcome along   :wink:

Do you get any error codes flashed up?

have you got more details of the one your selling?

no error codes come up, I took it the the garage and they said I need a new unit
