Title: VAG com interface

ive just downloaded the latest vag com, all i need now is the correct interface for my 2000 mk4 golf 2.0 gti.
anyone point me in the right direction,
do the ebay items work?
can i have the link to the correct one for my car, thanks

forgot to mention the vag com i downloaded was 908.2

908 wont work with a copy interface you need a Ross Tech lead

you can buy on of these (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=vag+com&_sacat=See-All-Categories) and use version 409. the blue ones work fine

or you can buy one of these (http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/vagcom-v7041-usb-to-obdii-cable-for-car-diagnostics/) and have the full version of 704

to get the latest version and a genuine lead its about £250 ish

sorry for hijacking this thread. will this work with a sharan 56 plate 2.0 TDI? is it OBD2? also is it 16pin? will that £8 lead work?

unlikely unless the Sharan isn't completely CANBUS based like the older cars
