Title: A pillar trim
Post by: Ess_Three on 04 June 2010, 11:25
On the A pillar trim, inside, is the 'Airbag' logo a removable screw cover, that pops off to get access to the mounting screw?

I have a feeling it is...but don't want to beast into it and wreck it, if it doesn't come off!

Anyone know?

Mounting screw for what? I think the Airbag logo is the actual airbag.

If it is then it must be a pretty small airbag... suddenly I don't feel quite so secure.

Just playing...

The airbag logo is just a little bit of plastic with a 'Y' style clip on it.
I saw a How To about taking the trim off somewhere on here... but I don't remember where!

Yep the cover pops off (small flat blade is best to lift it a little and then get a trim tool under it) and there is a torex screw behind it.

There is then a number of "poppers" that hold the rest of the trim in place
