Title: front wishbones

Are the front wishbones off 1.4, 1.6,tdi. 2.0 gti's the same as the ones on the 1.8T golfs

Reason i ask is im after a spare set to i can clean up, paint and fit my poly bushes into wwhilst still being able to use the car.

i need 2 new wishbones, god dam clunking  :rolleyes:. cheapest i could find new was fleabay £42.80 for the pair

I think I may have a spare set in me shed mate

I bought complete sets last year to swap bushes etc around

Think i still have them - will let you know  :smiley:

cheers rhys, dont need new ones as i will be shot blasting them and painting them and fitting new bushes. Just need them to come with balljoints that aint split.

I'll have a dig about the weekend mate and let you know

Can't remember if I had the bushes pressed into my exisiting wishbones and put back on the car or i used the new ones and pressed the bushes into them  :undecided:

They do have new balljoints on them but I will warn you that they're Ebay specials  :lipsrsealed:

ah right, let us know mate. was lookin for genuine second hand ones as i think sometimes fitting poly bushes to non oem ones can be abit of a pain.

they are my old genuine wishbones mate :afro:
