My hazard warning light switch between the heater outlets on the dash is flashing.
It is very dim but its flashing on and off when the cars locked up and the alarm is on.
Its no flashing in time with the door led either, its just flashing very dimmly but as its dark in my garage i can see it.
Does yours do this as this seems odd to me. :undecided:

Yep, mine does this to - it's like a blink-blink....blink-blink.

Thanks
Its very dimm lit after locking the doors for about 30 seconds to a minute, i guess thats the time the alarm takes to arm, then it flashes on and off at about a second a go but still very dimm. Its also totally different timing to the alarm LED. Seems odd. :undecided:

Do the non-alarmed Golf models have any flashing LEDs?, perhaps its a redundant one stuck behind the dash. Given that the hazard light switch / power is independent of the ignition, I wonder whether there is a natural low voltage pulse in the system........
Seems like a quirky feature rather than a fault, my car was built back in June last year so it's part of the design it seems.

Mine has the hazards flashing dimly. I'd never have noticed it if you hadn't said.

Never noticed that but will look for it when I put it in garage tonight.
