Quick one,
When the cars been mapped, stage 1, I need a yellow forge dv spring,
Can I use spacers to "stiffen" the green one temporarily?
and
Does anyone know the best place to buy just the yellow spring on its own?
-
i bought my yellow spring from a company on ebay but i have a feeling its a "forged" copy..
pm for the ebay name and see what you think.
they did send me a sticker but looking at the spring it just looked cheap, was only sprayed on one side where the green one i took out was green all over and the quality of paint looked alot better.

Any advice?

never tried it with spacers? IMO its best to do it right and get the yellow spring.

Ta, may have a bit of an "experiment" then.

I'd also recommend getting a yellow spring from Forge.
The issue with using spacers is not knowing the spring rate or if it is progressive (i.e. it gets harder to compress the more compressed it is if that makes sense). If the spring is indeed progressive then using spacers will limit the travel and ultimately mean that it is at a higher stiffness all of the time meaning it won't work as it should. Using spacers to reduce the length of a non progressive spring will simply shorten the travel and not make it any stiffer (the spring rate will remain the same regardless of travel).
