Title: 16v Master and servo
Post by: benji mk2 on 13 December 2004, 09:05

Managed to get hold of 16v servo and master cylinder the other day. I was told it's just a straight swap for the standard Mk1 item. The servo fits no probs but the brake lines to the master are completely differant. Any ideas anyone???    Cheers, Ben

I had to remake the short brake pipe that goes to the front port o/s (down to a "t" piece) opposite where the brake light switch screws in. The m/cylinder I have has four ports on it (the original one had five ports) , so I had to loose one switch, the two rear pipes go in without much trouble.
Steve.
