Just a quickie here, whats the best way of getting rid of the dust that forms on your car overnight? Mines in a carport, and seems to have a thin film of dust on it every morning. I presume that I can't just wipe it off with a microfibre towel as this will scratch yes? I've just cleaned her thoroughly, but want to keep her sparkling in this weather. What do you think?

just give it a quick wash over 2bm and dry with towel, re-apply some wax if you have time( not essential but well worth the effort)

snowfoam!!

Yeah, I've just been reading up on this 'snow foam' malarky, how exactly does it work then? I take it you apply the SF through a pressure washer until the whole car is covered, then rinse off? Is it really that good?
-
it basically works by lifting the dust/dirt particals away from the surface of the car via the foam, as the foam hits the car and forms a layer of micro bubbles which lift the dirt/dust to the top of the foam layer making it easier to remove without touching the cars surface.
dont get me wrong its good but will never replace washing the car with 2bm but its definatly worth doing before you give it the wash mitt treatment.

2bm???????????? what is this?? :embarassed:

2 bucket method,
2 buckets with grit guards in both, 1 bucket with your soapy water and the other with plain water, dip washmitt in soapy bucket, wash a panel gently then dip washmitt in plain water to remove crap from it then dip back into soapy bucket and repeat the process till cars fully washed, it minimalises you spreading the dirt/grit etc all over the car and inflicting scratches and swirls.

sometimes... just for a quicky... a little bit of snowfoam, a couple of days after your wash with 2bm, does the trick nicely... just lifts the pollen and dust off nicely... quick pressure wash off... good to go
