Put Black Alloys on my mk 5 silver gti instead of my 18" Monza ll's  ???????????????????

ive got a black mk5 gti and I upgraded 17" monzas to 18" monzas of golf mk6 gti originals; silver face with black inserts; they look great.

I reaaly like the Black VW Monza's (HUFFS? spelling?)

Would like to see if anyone on here has a PIC of a silver GTI with them or any of the BBS range in black on their GTI.

Those look great mate but i want the Alloys to be completley black.....

Wondering if i could get my Monza's re painted or wether i would have to invest in brand new Alloy's?

You can easily get your Monzas done in black. This is JoesGTI with black CHs

Could i take the wheels anywhere to get painted or is it a specialist job due to the rims being laser cut ?

I was thinking of doing it to my 18" monza's i thought it would be better/ cheeper than having them refurbished

But i cand decide if it would look any good as the car is that metalic gun gray colour (i dont know the proper name of it), pluss i like how the standard paint on the edge of the "spokes" matches the car!  :undecided:

Im sucha idiot, or some reason I got it in my head your car was black hence I posted Joes car as its black. :rolleyes:

And Saint Steve....THOSE are the exactly what i am talking about......Do you know if VW can turn mine into what you have ?

Any decent wheel refurbishment company worth their salt should be able to do it for you.

A1 wheels in Wolverhampton did mine.They specialise in Monza II refurbing.( i will double check if thats correct)

Mine were Huffs origonally, so no white worm worrys for me later on :smiley:

I prefer the gloss then the Satin finish . But we each have different opinions. Mine look better in the flesh then photo'd tbh

Just been quoted by Lepsons,to get all the rims painted will be about £250.00 inclusive of V.A.T......

And the as i live quite a distance from their shop,providing i am there for 08.00 in the morning he will do them all in the same day... :smiley: Although if i wanted the red trim they would cost more and the car would have to stay there...

car looks nice mate black wheels will work wonders on a reflex silver GTI   :cool:

i think i met you in the shell wycombe and said to you nice rear bumper, and you said you couldnt afford the ED30 lol!  :laugh:

Thanks for the comments about the car,Although it was'nt me you spoke to at the Shell Garage...so someone else has the same rear bumper as mine ?????

The front and rear badges are both carbon fibre ones. :cool:

CF badges are sort of "the next level" lol Hurdy likes a bit of that

I'm a massive fan of the black badges and they can be easily sprayed yourself or not into DIY your local garage should be able to do it at a price but it really isn't that hard to do so I would suggest giving it a go yourself.

Seeing as Hurdys doing pics, well then bolloxs so am I :D
