Eny1 know the most u can get out a GT TDI (140) remap??

i read somewhere that awesome GTI can do it and figures between 160+ are easily possible... they even did/do a try before you buy for a few hours!??

a put the details in to celtic tuning and they said they can remap a mk5 gt tdi 138ps engine to 201ps!!?? a dont believe it thoo

not sure about that with remap alone but have seen a car with 192!?.. it aint cheap though, to get high gains you're looking shy of 500 notes i think...

Fact with just a remap it says it easily gains 185bhp i would settle for that lol

Around 170-180bhp is the norm, from a stock engine and exhaust, There is room to go to 200bhp but not a safe option without a full exhaust, downpipe decat ect. I know the company in question quotes un realistic power out puts on most of there remaps.
With the 2.0TDI you want to be looking at the torque cure, when is peaks and how long most of the peak power holds for, some map out there will give a massive spike of power which will pin you back in your seat for a split second then nothing afterwards. Then you get the good maps which offer strong,linear torque across most of the useable rpm range to offer a greater average bhp/lbft, which will quicker than a car with more peak bhp/lbft with less average power. A good way to make your mind is is have a look at rolling road graphs, not the power out puts but the style of the torque curve and how much area under it.
