Title: R32 Bumpers?
Post by: TinuxGTI on 26 May 2010, 20:20
I want to get the R32 Rear bumper with the twin millitek.

Question is, will I need side skirts aswell?
And will both bumper and exhaust be a striaght fit?

Thanks in advance

You wont necessarily NEED the side skirts, but would certainly help with the look. But then if you were going to do that I would also recommend either changing the front end or spraying / changing the front valance.

Just my opinion  :smiley:

Yeah i'd spray the valence as i'm not to keen with the R32 front bumper.

Cheers though

Will the milltek exhaust fit because the r32 dosent have a wheel well and thats what makes room for the back box???? not sure tho

Milltek do a R32 sytle exhaust system that fits straight onto a 1.8t and you dont have to cut the wheel well out. you will just need a hanger welding on the drivers side to mount the drivers side tail pipe

p.s, they sound awesome if you go for the non-res system

:) where can I find them?
Also, what's the difference between the resonated and the non res?

Thanks

Resonated = quieter
Non res = louder

If you get the Bumpers you dont neccessarily need the skirts to match, I had R32 Front with an R-line rear on my last mk4 & it looked ok

It will look arse heavy and stupid imo,you will need at least an anni front valance and some skirts to pull the look off, even then it could still look arse heavy without the R32 front.
