Title: engine top cover

how the hell do you get the top cover off, ive pulled and tugged all morning  and without breaking it , it wont budge, theres already  a crack in from whoever had it before me

What car ? 

 There will be 4 screws or 4 allen key ( big fookers... size 10mm i believe)  that you have to unscrew and then it should just lift off.

got the damn cover off at last few cuts and a lot off swearing but its off. plenty of lubricant before re -placing it and it didnt break
