So the Chrysler cooling problem was not the relay. Tested with a multimeter showing no result tried second hand known working one and nope. :cry:
Bastard PCM module has gone and it's gonna be hundreds to sort and really not worth it as the cars getting old now.
SO I'm thinking of buying:

Splicing into a pipe on the car and finding a fan switch that fits then wiring it up so that it turns on a 40A relay which turns the fans on.
