if you havent used red mist before id suggest either get the tropical version or go for the megs detailer as red mist can be a bit fidly to use as it drys quite quickly and end up patchy on the panel if not worked properly.

I have red mist also, it's good, but the Chemical Guys ProDetailer is awesome. You can also buy in gallon bottles for Guy :)

What's the best way to apply red mist. Is it a case of spray the whole car then wipe straight off gently  or do you have to buff.

All I do is spray it on, wait 3-5 secs then buff off. That seems to work fine for me.

Think i'm gonna get some tropical because unfortunately there is no shade where i clean my car so should be better than the red mist, i try to clean it when the weathers a bit cooler or in the evenings if it's been a hot day.

Have you tried drying with a QD after washing?

I'll be trying it with this Chemical Guys soon to see what it's like

Guy, what are your thoughts on Meguiars Last Touch? I'm using this at the moment and to be honest I prefer it to Red Mist Tropical in terms of shine. It smells awesome too.

I use it neat (as Megs suggest) but some people dilute it 1:1. It seems to be good value for money in the 1 gallon bottles.

Some people also use it as a clay lube but i'm happy with DJ Born Slippy so haven't bothered.
