Title: Laying Rear Wiper Flat.

In another post someone suggested putting my rear wiper flat.

Its in the standard position and does look pretty rubbish. How do you move it?

And does it effect the controls?

I read it was because VW decided it was more aerodynamic to have it up :grin:

Post by: tobz. on 10 December 2004, 09:40: Gambit I thought it didn't lay perfectly flat on the window rubber unless you modify the bend. If it can be done as well as yours without modifying the arm that's cool coz I've seen a nice smooth wiper arm cover on the SWG website that I'm gonna get but thought it probably wouldn't fit if the arm had been bent about.

Post by: Veedubgt18v on 10 December 2004, 18:00: i didnt have to bend mine either :huh: its a splined araangement inside and out and you can do it without bending it. however you can get it flatter if you fit a smaller washer jet or better yet get rid of it!
