yes you have to wire it all back to the fuseboard using the old wiring loom. the wires sould all clip into place behind the fuse board

Not sure on the windows but on my mirrors nthe connections were all behind the fuse panel or above it. White/Green is the heat circuit and plugs into the white/green connector around back of the fuse panel. Yellow with red is the power and plugs into the same colored connector to the right of the fuse panel and brown is the ground and plugs in above the fuse panel on the grounding block. You can route the under dash loom without taking the dash out but it is alot easier to just pull the dash and do it right.

or if your loom has been cut or the connectors arent there then find an ignition live terminal on the fusebox (there is an empty one) then ground on the block above the fusebox or the point near the door. then cut into the white/green wire and you will be laughing! dont overload the ignition live feed tho and dont be tempted to run it off the fuel pump wire cos it will run like a bag of nails

have a good old look at your fusebox you might be lucky and have the right bits there, if you do cut into existing wires/make mew connections etc it makes sense to label what the new wires are then in 3 years time you or someone else wont think    wtf ?
