Gutted,
ive just been getting my golf out of the garage, reversed it out, and there is a little lip, sticks up about 2",? as the wheels went over it, the front end ducked down, caught the 16v lip the front and snapped the G60 arch clean off!?
its beyound? repair, its in 2 peices, i was going about 1/2mph, must have been the angle i was at, im really gutted, only had the car 3days?
so i need to know if all G60 arches are the same, and if there is any veriances?
i drive a mk2 1988 Golf GTI 8v, any info wil be great,
thanks in advance, stu

All G60 arches are the same. But your best getting genuine ones from VW, They fit best. Shouldnt cost too much mate. Try your local GSF
Hope that helps

Did exactly the same on the previous mk2 I had when going over a speedbump! Genuine kit is best :)
