Title: HELP PLEASE!!!!
Post by: nicol_vw on 20 May 2010, 15:49
I really need some help. I am doing a big bumper conversion, and I have got to the rear bumper. Just rung vw to order rear bumper slider brackets/holders and they don't stock them anymore. Does anyone know where I can get some from?

as a bit of a newbie in all things tv can you please help....

Set-up comprises of........

LG 42 plasma 6000 series TV

LG 752TH-DH dvd Cinema system - Connected via HDMI on port 2

Sky  Box- Connected via scart lead on AV1

Toshiba DVD Recorder-connected via HDMI on port 1

What i want to do is get my TV sound to come out of the cinema speakers. I was told i could do this by connecting an optical lead from the TV to the cinema dvd box.

however try as i might i cannot get sound to come out of the surround speakers. What am i missing here please?

The other question is that if i want to burn a dvd from a program recorded on the hard drive of the sky  box do i need to connect a scart lead between the sky  box and the dvd recorder? i presume i do.

Many thanks in anticipation

Try connecting the digital optical cable up your ar$e, that should get some sort of sound, perhaps not what you might expect, but I'm sure you might quite like it..........
