Thats not bad, means you can position your drivers seat further back if you extend the steering column, look how far back the seats are in a citroen c4 rally car.

Jeezus, think about the number of other things you'd need to move backwards!
Horrendous and crazy idea IMO.
But I think Nick's just being a perv.

Indeed, you'd have to move all the switch gear, then the shifter housing (in my case change to cable as well). A lot of stuff to shift about.
I only found them through lookking for a bias valve. They do do bias peddle boxes that fit in the OE way as well.

but then you can have a cool switch panel on a bit of carbon fibre sheet
plus the weight savings by removing servo and oem pedal box from the drivers side of the car
plus moving the weight of the driver backwards
plus a nicer seating/pedal position
its definitely worth the effort

Thatswhat i was thinking, get a ratchet shifter aswell

Something to save up for, for when I go 02a w/hydraulic clutch in the mk1

A word of warning - someone I know with one of these compbrake boxes in his mk2 vr broke it when braking hard from 100mph the other day. :undecided: Apparently theres only a few spot-welds holding the box together.
So if you get one, beef up the welding before putting it in! (He has done this now and is very satisfied with it )

i hope he informed compbrake
