Keep it !  How about the ronals and single lamp grill and if going for the smooth look how about taking the front number plate off, smoothing bumper and putting it below the bumper ?

KEEP the car.... love the door changes, lowered always looks good. I like the single lights also. What you planning to do to the interior if anything?

Cheers Si, deffo clear indicators, missed that bit

Seems to be a bit of a mixture of the two photos but I got to admit photo shop is a quality way to see what it will look like and get opinions on it. Keep em coming

looking good - clear indicators and crystals really clean the front end up. I like the Ronals too. Not sure about removing the strips from the side though. I've always thought of them as a classic feature of a mk1.

Have the single lamps, crystal lights and looking at it, without the strips it has a nice smooth look!  could stand out from a crowd

most people ive spoken to have said keep it, so looks like i may well just do that. thanks for the nice replies  i like the ronals with the single lamps not sure on bump strip, seen 1 with a thinner strip which looked nice.

1 question, when raining do other people with mk1 cabs find the front window steams up realy bad so you cant see a thing??? only sorts it having the cold blower on?? it tends to steam up more with the warm on :undecided:

Thats cos your car will be slightly damp, and turning the heating on evapourates some of it steamng ya windows up!!!!  my mk2 does this cos i have a swimming pool in the rear footwell, you get a free shoe wash when you brake hard!

Could be good stuff, might be the sort of stuff that you have to apply regulary, which could be a pain in the arse!!!

The shoe wash is good, but when the cold water splashes your ankles, its not nice!!!!

to combat the leak, if there is one, the best thing to do is wait till the summer so that the water dries out from the interior.  and look at the oof to see if there is a leak!  o, and check the plastic thingys on the inside of the door arent torn, cos thats another place for leakage! :smily:

they dont come available very often cause they are german and so expensive. for a set with tyres your looking at over 1200 quid really....

id probably reccommend r&a design. i paid for mine in two installments.
