as per title, have been searching on google and such but cant seem to make head nor tail, im looking for somewhere to buy some sheet steel to do a bit of welding on the car, somewhere in or near doncaster? everywhere i seem to come across is just trade sites dealing in bulk  so wondered where anyone else got thiers from?
cheers
-
motor factors usualy do small pieces, 500 sq i think, B+Q do it too, not cheap but easy to get hold of, otherwise just phone one of the local trade places, if you just want small bits they are often willing to sell offcuts cheap or even let you raid scrap bin as the smaller bit are no use to them
+ could try local engineering shops/ welders may well be willing to sell you bits
-
defo try engineering company's, etc they chuck away skip loads of scrap steel, etc.
also try places like Aalco (they have branches in Leeds and Hull) and other metals suppliers, im sure they can do offcuts for a good price :)
or go on a midnight hunt around industrial estates :lipsrsealed:
