I've read the adidas edition is only available in left hand drive.....

As mentioned before, if your into wearings your shell suits, and baseball caps its the one for you.
Otherwise its a terrible marketing idea, and they won't sell the full quota, not at list price anyway!

I tend to agree with the first bit, but they will sell. Personally I wouldn't want Adidas branding logos on my GTI.....I mean, it's a VW GTI not a sports bag

Definitely Chav material

At least they are not doing a Reebok version---the most common footwear that UK burglars wear!

nice wheels, that is all :undecided:

I guess this redefines "sports car"

such a bad joke but I love it

I think Addidas has a very different image as a brand in the fatherland than it has here.

...you only have to look at the girls on the bonnet........rather unpro advertising...
The more they change the look of the MK VI the further they get away from original "stylish" one...

The wheels are  Monzas look 100 times better!

I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's a limited edition so will sell okay. It's not that ugly and as an ex indie kid I don't view adidas as chavvy. A lot of indie kids (not myself) are middle class student types who appreciate classic designs (hence classic adidas stuff fetches good money on ebay). Not all adidas wearers shop at SportsDirect or JJB for all their gear!
I don't think I'd want the adidas badge on the B pillar but the seats are okay and not too different to the Worthersee 09 GTI or even the R's seats for that matter.
I quite like the wheels too. When you see them on the Worthersee youtube vids they look a lot better than they do in photos.

Boring in its entirety!
Sad to see a munufacturer pathetically scratching their arse with these 'Sport Logo' Editions which are vomit inducing.
-
Bit of a marmte one then this.
I still can't see them selling the full UK allocation though.
Similar story to the Pirelli I guess, what was the final figures for these against the Edition 30?

ED30 is not a limited run i'm afraid they made too many though i think it was marketed as a special edition when it got released then they made them for around 3 year! if i bought one i would not be impressed at that but i think they are 300-400 Pirelli golf in UK so will be worth a real gem over time i'm sure of that

I'd read, and the badges will back it up that they stopped around the 1760 mark on the Edition 30, so it was somewhat limited. The original press of which I still have some info was for 1500.
For me still don't change the fact that the Addidas seats look

Do you ever see a grey Polo GTI running about your way. Has the BIG turbo conversion on it, GT30 am sure running at 486bhp! Am sure it lives down your way?
