Title: rad cap

Ive just bought a new radiator cap/expasion bottle cap for my 16v. The old one was black and came from austria. The new one is blue and comes from germany the bloke at vw says its fine you cant get the black one anymore. Has anyone else got the blue one on their 16v. :P :P :P

It would be the same release valve opening pressure regardless of the colour. They make a lot of things colour keyed these days so its easier for novices to check levels, The dip stick and washer bottle are other examples.
