Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, I have sold my Audi A3 3dr S Line in Ibis white for an Edition 30 3dr in Candy white, just wondering if theres anything i should be aware of with these cars? any common faults etc ???
Would appreciate any feedback on this as I dont have much knowlege on this particular model as I had an A3 and my boyfriend has an R32
Thanks guys

Welcome Becca.
You have brought a fantastic car!!. Ive had mine for 2 years and still love to grab the keys just to nip out to the shop lol
Although try not to race your boyfriend, you will upset him
Try and post a picture or two
What spec have you brought?? Dsg or Manual?
Either type, there arent that many things tbh to worry about at this early stage. If you want to tinker under the bonnet ie( modify) you will find lots of helpful tips from a few on here.

Hi Becca, you have nothing to worry about. Your boyfriend on the other hand is going to wish you car was his! Although i will always have to preach the fact Diamond Black is the fastest Cany White is not far behind, we all like a bit of candy!

It's a manual 3dr with a sunroof  havent had a sunroof in over two years so looking forward to that! I will get plenty of pics up as soon as i get a chance, collecting it on 25th May, unfortunately i wont upset my boyfriend, as he has a v6 and 4wheel drive  not to mention other mods

As for speed limits, yes i will have to look out 4 them as well as the money grabbing speed cameras! cant wait to give it a blow out and hear a proper turbo rather than a hairdryer turbo like i had in my A3 lol
Thanks for all the comments guys, i will keep an eye out for meets and try my best to make some in the near future

V6 is nothing when you tune your car! as long as he is happy! R32 is 250bhp, your car is 230 as standard but wait until you speak to Revo! A basic remap will send the Ed30 to 300bhp
once the mod bug bites your in trouble!
Stage 2+ for the win

unfortunatley his R32 has a rather large blower on his, it boosts to 15psi & is running about 420bhp on full boost, think i will need a lot of mod bug bites to keep up with that. im happy with it as standard, although i cant promise i wont remap it very soon  lookin forward to coming face to face with a standard r32 in a straight line! I ll show them what a proper golf is
So chuffed ive finally found an edition 30!

its a nice car they are fast but very thirsty
a few personal touches like rns 510 and remap would be perfect
what optional extras do you have on your do you have xenons, winter pack etc?

hmm, i usually travel through town rather than motorway to and from work, think i will have to change my habbit to get some economy out of it. considering i was used to a 2.0 Diesel, im going to notice a big difference in my bank balance lol Im sure i will enjoy it even if it decreases my bank balance, wats money for afterall ? To spend and enjoy life of corse!
