Title: Replacing gear nob on Mk4 Golf gti????

Cant get the bloody thing off any tips?

pull the leather gaiter up away from the centre console (you can get your fingers under it just about at the back if you push down into the gaiter) then pull it over and inside out so you can see how the gearknob is attached, just a little clip that needs pulling open a bit then the gearknob pops off.
