Myself and James (son) went out for a quick blast today in the old banger, and ended up at Coventry Gliding club, South of leicester, on the Northants boarder, so nowhere near Cov!
Pics taken on a Nikon D90, shot in RAW, and no tripod

It would be better if the car was mint condition.
On a serious note, f**king awesome car.

very cool

Cracking shots :afro:

Someone would benefit from a polarising filter.
Like the last photo, but I'm not a fan of the composition of the others.
Top one I think has been shot from too high.
Middle would be waaay better as a panning shot from the front/side of the car with some motion blur.
Background is too fussy in the second to last one.

Thanks for the comments guys..
DH, James took over 200 shots today, and he wasn't happy with any of them! he had no kit with him, just the camera.
I picked out a few that I like.. If the weather is good tomorrow we'll have another go fully armed
The building in the last shot is part of an abandoned WW2 airbase (I think, possibly earlier) and will definitely get a revisit... but with permission from the farmer!

nice thom
is that out husbands bosworth way?

Correct Vaughn, the last pic was taken right next door to where Xray55 the Police helicopter is based... Sibertoft I think, the whole area is very good for photos, including the abandoned petrol station on the main drag in Husbands Bosworth

i'm in agreement with DH on these points... was thinking it was a shame that the composition wasn't stronger as the car is lovely :)
