Title: 17's on a Mk2
Post by: Dizzie on 07 August 2003, 11:40
I'm hoping to get some 17's on my mk2 very soon, but not sure about arch clearance, etc. The car is on 15's atm and sits fairly low already.

see (btw, the blue lights are being replaced soon)

Would putting 17's with 205/40 rubber on be ok? it's on monroe shocks atm.

Cheers for help

My name is Gareth  ???

i was looking at some Kahn RSR's wrapped in Yokies for now. A mate has already bagged those OZ's that are on my car atm. Will have to speak to him about it all.

Will 17's fit then?

Email me pics of your wheels to Dizzie@tripwyre.co.uk plz :)

Ordered some more Crystal/Red rear lights and matching fronts today :D

Check this topic "Has any1 lowered a mk11 on 17"s  for information regarding lowering on 17's, sounds like we might have problems unless we work round them.

i'll try and sort some photos for you, need to get hold of a digital carmera.

Check that topic iut just a few lines down from this one.

Cheers

Garry

ps i don't know where i got Lee from, sorry mate.
