UGH!

Seriously large amounts of wrongness.

Insures as 1.8 16v

No, no it doesn't if you've actually completed the paperwork and declared the mods so your insurance isn't invalid.

This V6 Golf conversion is also one of Jeremy Clarkson's favourite cars.

If you're going to make a quote like that FFS provide some documentary evidence.  How does it possibly fit into a sales pitch?

The next time I advertise a car I'm tempted to use a line like that, just to see the reaction.

'This Passat estate is one of James May's favourite cars'

and when someone asks 'eh?' I'll just say 'oh I bumped into him at the Co-op one evening and he told me how much he loved it'.

There is a drain on the battery – haven’t had a chance to look at it.

So botched wiring (ahem) or DH's favourite, dodgy alarm install

There have been a few but it's very marmite.
This one is running a Corrado front bumper too:

Small bumper mk2:

There used to be a lot more pictures but many of them were lost in vwvortex's recent move. Personally, I like the two above, they look mean

the blue one above works well with the rado wings and bumper but generally rado fronts on golfs look wrong imo

That blue one has had the rear arches welded on and the side built up to match the wings and the rears as well. I really like it actually.
