Title: Temp Sender Change On Mk4 Golf

Anyone have a quick guide on how to do this?

ive had a search but no results for my engine.

Its a 1.6 16v S AUS engine code

Use the 1.8T guide shouldn't be much different  :smiley:

Engine off and cool engine  :wink:

With some old rags ready.....

Unclip sensor wiring

Position rags beneath sensor housing

With new sensor ready, whip the retaining clip off, remove old sensor and pop the new one in, re-attach retaining clip (make sure sensor is seated properly)

Re-attach wiring

Might be lucky and no coolant lost, but double check level before setting off and happy motoring fella!

anyone got a picture of where it is? just to be safe and make sure its the right one i remove
