Can anyone recommend me a decent clay to use? Previously I had been using Dodo Juice Supernatural Clay but I've used the last of that now so I'm looking to restock. I don't have a problem with the Supernatural, just would like to know what everyone else has and how they rate it.

how did you find it personally? did you buy it in the kit with the born slippy?

I found the Supernatural quite good, although the only other clay I have used is the one that comes in the Meguiars kit and had no problems with this either.
It was clear from looking at the Supernatural afterwards that it had done its job and removed plenty of surface contaminants and the paint felt very smooth and ready for polishing.
I didn't buy it in a kit but I did use it along with Born Slippy lube

This won't help at all but I only ever use the Supernatural or the Meg's. Well that's a lie really, I had to go for the Purposeful Purple on one particular detail.
-
which ones is the "rougher" of the clays then...the more aggressive" if you have a lot of contaminats?

purposeful purple is the more aggressive one
can cause marring if not enough lube is used.

I've heard good things about sonus green clay, seen quite a few people using it on DW.
Have you used Supernatural before guy? Looking for a comparison.

no, not used SN, have used it in comparison to megs clay and AS clay... prefer Sonus to both of those

i did but i quite like the idea of being able to 'mould' the clay
but they say that for a never clayed car use the normal one
so would the soft one be ok or should i go for the normal one?
cheers
