I seem to have lost the facia (the face off bit with all the controls and display) to my Sony CD MPX140 head unit (cd, tuner/mp3 compatible).
I suspect it would be expensive to buy from Sony.
Anyone know anywhere else that might stock them cheaper?
It's really annoying cos it's a good unit, but I can't listen to anything till I get the facia, it's only a year and a half old and I don't want to have to buy a replacement just yet.
Help...

These are notoriously expensive to get hold of, for the simple reason of theft - the face-off style stereo was designed to make it possible to leave the main unit in the car, and carry around a very small piece of it with you, without which the main unit would be useless.
If the fascias were ten a penny, they whole idea would be useless, on the basis that a thief could still go and steal the main units, then just go and buy the fascias, totally defeating the object!!
Many places won't even order you one unless you can provide a receipt, for this very reason.
I'd give ebay a whirl, and try speaking to your local friendly stereo shop.
BTW, how do you loose a stereo fascia??!!

I think it dropped out of my pocket when I got in/out of the car.
Well, looks like it's time for some ebaying.
