Not so dingy down below anymore with worn out plastic right and left footrests. Now those really look cheap and nasty.

Can't fault Gulf's quality or price though :afro:

Thought of what first exactly? As we 4er's and 5'ers have had Gulf's footrests for years

Footrest,did you glue yours ?

Double sided sticky tape beautifully placed on them by Gulf.
Took 5 minutes to fit the lot! Quite secure for now!

Footwell will get nice and warm in the summer or when the heating is pointed at your feet, impact adhesive might be better. :undecided:

Why would you even need a right foot rest because your right foot should be either covering the accelerator or the brake or you could rest your right leg on that shiney pedal and nothing will happen. Love the left foot rest. I have an Osir one and it serves a pupose where as the right is overkill buddy but enjoy.

The right one comes in handy for when you have a right side crash impact as it comes straight across and chops you foot off saving all those shoe costs in the future

Out of interest, does the Osir part have the rubber bits poking through?
It looks like it in the pics on their site.

These guys have been screwed by paying an unnecessary sum of money for the OSIR footrest with horribly massive ugly screw fixings. UGLY. QED.

+1. Don't you get a left footrest at all on RHD models? Am I missing something? Mine came out of the factory like this:

Oh right. A bit tight, they could have given you something a bit more elegant. I can see why you're all so into pedal covers now.

Does Gulfstream do a testicle rest/splitter? Mine get squashed together by the side bolsters. Can become uncomfortable during spirited driving?

Don't you get a left footrest at all on RHD models? Am I missing something? Mine came out of the factory like this:

Our pedals are on the other side remember - so we don't have a huge space for your left foot to sit!

You don't have any room to the right hand side of your gas pedal

Glen - I have one of Gulfs pedals... not the OSIR one.
Like am1w said - I was the first to have an 'R' one... so I got it free too.  I did give him some cash for a couple of beers though - and paid full price for my mates R32 one  :nerd:

I quite agree, I AM lazy. That's why I also enjoy having power steering, 4 electric windows (mine even has flick control, so I don't even have to keep my finger pressed down for 4 seconds, shudder the thought), automatic climate control, satnav, servo brakes...

And the best accessory of all: heated seats, so my metabolism can take time off and not even worry about keeping my body warm

Come to think of it, aren't cars for lazy people who can't be bothered to walk anyway?

Thank you for being the rep for 'Age Concern' on this forum. Most grateful.
I will certainly seriously consider your advice, but I might not be willing for the next few years to put this into practice if you don't mind.
Any other suggestions are most welcome, especially from you, as I am beginning to trust you more and more as time passses.
Thank you once again for your concern. I am certainly feeling more protected now with your newly provided and genuine support.
