Title: Sun, blue sky, mountains and MINI (Lots of pics)
Post by: 08micsta on 11 May 2010, 10:54
Hey guys

These are some shots I did from a MINI run we did a month or 2 back. Was lots of fun. Those that have been to Cape Town will realise that for this shoot we drove through the Waterfront amongst everyone and then parked in the centre of the waterfront. Very Italian Job style.  :lipsrsealed:

This was a huge amount of fun and such a pleasure working with such gorgeous cars. The best was hanging out the back of the GP Works strapped to a roll bar getting the rolling shots

Thank you guys.

The BMW's always tag along when we have a run. And the MINI's usually tag along with the BMW's when they have a run. We have a good inter club relationship going.

I think I will look into Flickr. I know Photobucket and enjoy using it but Flickr is no doubt much better.

Thanks again.

Nice photos :afro:

IMO they are slightly underexposed though, probably because you're shooting in such sunny conditions which has thrown the camera EV out.

Hey there

As mentioned in another thread. It appears that my camera (it evens states this in its manual) doesnt like to differentiate between very strong blends of colour or dull colour. Bumping the EV up on my camera simply over exposes the background too much.

Oh the joys of using a hand held camera and making it do stuff its not really designed for. lol

Its something I do need to keep in mind though.

you can probably ignore my comment in the mini thread then

Your best bet is probably HDR then or a new camera

No! Wont be ignoring your advice. Will try messing with those settings in Manual mode next time. Thank you :)

And the lady is just a lady who came along (Actually a financial manager for a large company here in SA) and she was told to pose. Hahaha
