Now don't shoot me, and forgive me if this makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up, but....
I have a 4" (100mm) angle grinder, is it possible to get polishing/mop heads/pads to fit this? If so...
A. would you recommend using this type of machine for polishing your car?
B. Where can I get the heads from? any links would help
Thanks in advance

no no no!!! these are definatly not suitable for polishing cars, they dont have variable speed.
it will burn through your paint/clearcote in seconds.

you can buy sponge things that go on a 4 1/2 grinder. they don't like 14,000 rpm bit's fly off and twit you in the face, have an el cheepo grinder with speed control it worked well on that for fixing my windscreen, but to make the sponge thing go slow enough for paint the motor is running to slowly and gets quite upset
