anyone tried them? they seem quite good value @£45
-
got greens on mine and under heavy braking they fade very alarmingly, i dont do track days but personally i will avoid ebc in future, i can only think reds would do the same?
-
I had EBC reds in my clio182 , Was really pleased with them and did loads of track days without any problems
-
Green red and blue are all sh!te for one reason or another, yellows work well on golf 2
-
ill give yellows a go then, bonus they are also £45
i have had the greens in the past and didn't rate them at all either, but thought that would be to do with their low dust design
-
Check Northloop for a discount code for EBC pads.
-
discount code brought the total down by £2
better than a slap in the face i suppose
-
Not had any ood experiences with ebc pads (greens and reds) in any car.

Ferodo DS2500 every time!!!
-
just worn a set of those out. very good pads, but at 90-100 quid thought i'd try a cheaper set!
-
i used to own my own motor factors had 1 guy racing an f40 and another racing a crx both using ebc reds both very happy
-
Ive just bought the cheaper ds performances, had them on my last car and couldn't complain. was going for the ds2500 but got put off as heard they where too track orientated
-
i thought the ds2500's were good enough when cold, but they were awesome when up to temp!
-
I use and highly rate the Mintex 1155's. Awesome pads, if a bit squeeky!

pure sh!tE on a mk4! my fade very badly and to be honest wish id stuck with standard and gone 312mm
-
I have to agree, they are massively over-rated.
I used them on my tweaked mk4 turbo, pedal feel was wooden, no improvement in overall braking retardation.
If you're not bothered about the state of your wheels I'd choose carbotech every time.
