Have spent a good amount of time reading loads of posts on here - very good forum I have to say, seems friendly and lots of very knowledgeable people which is always useful. I have been looking a Golf GTI ever since I drove one in December and fell in love with it. Checked internet Friday and went to see one Saturday that I just knew had to be mine. Tornado red, 2006, 38000 miles, 18" monza wheels heated seats and not sure about rest lol. However am very excited and should have it at the start of next week. So basically this is just a short hello, and a I think this forum is great and I shall come here first if I have any queries or comments. Thanks

I agree, it is a fantastic car and I the day I pick it up cannot come soon enough. I will try and post some pics and hopefully they will meet with approval.

MK5 GTI'S are amazing motors to own. I love mine, as you can probably guess by the name. LOL.

This is a rly friendly and helpfull place to be, i'm a newbee too and have been made very welcome. Your new car sounds mint  :cool: red is a very good colour choise IMO

Between lights a normal GTI will beat a 340bph wheelspinner every time.
Only on the Nurburgring will any advantage shine.
Unless the HP car has a good driver.
