Hi All,
I've just bought a cheap mk2 1300 as a run around, I've only ever had GTI's before so a factory carb is new to me, it's still got the original Pierburg 2E3 carb, i'm hopeful of a cheap fix as a £200+ weber conversion is out of the question, it won't idle and when keeping my foot on the accelerator to keep it running the revs seem to go up and down a fair bit, it seems to pull ok on a run though, any advice would be great or if anyone has a good used carb for sale i could be interested.
