Title: New Tyre Time

Hey Peeps,

Time for some new tyres on the fronts. I have Conti Sport Contact 2's all round but noticed on the LH side front & rear they are 225/40/ZR18 and the RH side front & rear are 225/40/R18 92Y  :huh: Does that setup cause an issue?

I seem to recall something about having to have matching tyres on each side of the car e.g same on front LH and rear LH. I have done some searching on here but can't find anyone mentioning this type of setup.

out of interest whats the best price you have found for them (and where from?).  im due 4 new conti 2's soon and best I could find was blackcircles.com fitted at approx £102 each.

Try www.camskill.co.uk - yes you have to get them fitted seperately but they offer a superb service :wink:

Best price I had found locally to me for Conti Sport Contact 3's on 18" was £123 per tyre inc VAT & fitting. Mail order £116 per tyre incl P&P/VAT excl fitting.

Are you sure those prices are for 225/40R18 tyres? For me BlackCircles comes out at £125.03 each.
