Title: JVC Radio Losing Settings

I installed my JVC into my car and the radio keeps losing its saved setting aftera bout 10 mins.

Any ideas?

hi mate,

if it's like my old jvc head unit???
on the back wires there should be a yellow wire with a connector and a red or brown wire with connector(i cant remember which colour)
but you will see ,as they are the only 2 with connectors, just swap one of each into the other.

so red/brown  into yellow and the same for the other one.

+1 what patty said.
I had the same problem with my new alpine.
The red and yellow are switchable and permanent lives.
I had to connect yellow to red and red to yellow.
