Well will start with a picture of the car on the day i bought it, in october last year, after looking at few mk3 , this one stood out from the rest , the condtion excellent , not a single dent or bit of rust to be seen. So parted company with the money and drove it home, very pleased with it , have had peugeots all my life before this , so not use to the quality of german cars!! :tongue:

As being at Uni in plymouth , funds wernt in my favour so the modifcations were slow at start and pictures of the progress were far a few bewteen. :undecided:
But anyways he a picture of how it looks now , not the best picture but was from a phone.

Got fair few plans for it, just figuring out the right set of wheels for it first. :undecided:

Is like this as the coilovers are off as the springs went completly rusty on them so took them back to performance 3000 and to get them replaced free of charge as only had them for 4 months and been coated with protection so wil have to wait till till wednesday :angry: ,

Well there is a gti spoiler on the back, but i would never go for a aftermarket one , as you said allready not going ott!! :smiley:

Nice looking Gti mate love them in silver as they always look so clean :cool: I reakon black wheels would suit it I know there pretty common wheels now but I reakon audi TT comps would look really nice on this in a gloss black finish or even like a gun metal metalic grey nice work though bud :wink:

dont like the audi rims personally, but they look best black with chrome audi rings and a polished lip :cool:
full chrome look great in that pic but a tad too PT cruiser once they ar eon the car if you get my drift

Very pleased with them as there a mint condtion set , so perfect for me to add my own touch in colours. Not sure what colour scheme to go for thou. :undecided:

Wheels have arrived , should of been yesterday but courier made and error couldnt open a gate! :undecided:
But anyways now time for chooseing the colour scheme and adding some rubber to them. :laugh:

195/50/15's
or
195/45/15's
50's cheaper to get with the better choice in brands, 45's just give slighty lower profile but limited on choice!! :undecided:

Yeah saw your set mate you had forsale mate, picked up a set day earlier, yeah defo good idea doing them black or somthing mate. pop into halfords there a range of colours to choose from. anything possible look what did to mine!! :tongue:
yeah most likely will put spacers on at some point if needed. will just put on the car without them at first.

they are abit different than the porker wheels every1 puts on, next on the list for me are coilovers so i can drop the front end more

Tyres ordered 195/50/15's. Will be getting the alloys/tyres fitted wednesday , so hopefully will get some pictures up on wednesday once fitted.
Now debating maybe to get the roof sprayed black. :undecided:
Think with the blue alloys going on , some blue and black concept leather will suit well.

roof would look black, look at getting it carbon wrapped or mat black might suit, you can do it yourself or a good vinyl/shop sign can do it my mate has offered to carbon wrap a few things for me.

Could work, maybe a change of headlights and other lights for something a little more clearer. i find the black and blue isn't sitting as well together. Although i do like the idea of blue slats.
You could even go for blue hoses and stuff like that, just so you have something to get it started.

Yeah gunna do the grill slat bits and think the wing mirrors aswell in same blue. as said if looks cack spray back black.

just neither of you ask me how much they were spaced :grin: and yeah they look loads better no diff on sizing just pulled em out...the roof was subtle blue as it was a quickie

looks pretty cool that. my suggestions would be to paint the wing mirrors and the inserts of the headlamps blue. then leave as it is :cool:

yeah the wing mirrors will be done soon, gunna do them in a simlair thing to the wheels, :cool:
inserts wouldnt do them to these headlights , but could get my standard ones from the garage and do somthing with them.

yeah i do like the sliver mate, keeping the black and sliver theme as much as i can, just wanted a slight twist to be slightly diffrent from the rest. :smiley:

i see what your saying dude totally, nothing wrong with that, but id have just left it at the rims mate, its too easy to get carried away with things.. i liked the simple clean lines of the satin silver..

know what your saying , it all trial and error at the moment really , like did the grill slats in blue then put back to black as didnt suit at all.

Well i want to try and get my wheels pushed put abit now , but as i havent got a clue abouts spacers ect :embarassed:, what size spacers should i go for?? 15mm?? , 20mm? , 30mm??.

I would say 5mm or 10mm front and 15mm back

Yes mate, I believe they need to be rounded taper.

have had found a garage in which they will do another brake test instead of putting it on the rolling brake test as it want get on the rollers. :tongue:

Mot failed :angry: on a worn nearside rear wheel bearing. (that all).
replaced it just now and back in for re-test saturday to get my mot passed hopefully. :smiley:
