straight swap for the chavvy ones. They re not bad nick just need some tidying up.
Looks so much better but drives crap now, the steering is much heavier and the splitter catches on the road which it didnt do before.
Both are 195/50/15 so how would it make such a difference?
-
The RA look so much better than the halfords specials.
-
Loads better :afro:
-
Looks much better mate, how the previous could of thought that looked "sh!tot" is beyond me!. Are they heavier? being why the steerings heavier. but dont know about the splitter. Got any plans for it>?
-
Your car drives crap now, because you have increased the unsprung weight, go over a bump, or round a bend and your wheels will naturally want to travel in reaction, further, causing the splitter to catch the ground, the effect will be exaggerated if the shocks and/or the springs are not at their best...

The RA s are a lot heavier than the chav ones. I think everyone will agree that they look a million times better though.
Was hoping to get out there today and clean them up but it kept raining so hopefully tomorow and if its sunny might polish the car aswell.
Had the car a while now but work was thin on the ground last year so many things that need doin have been put up with like the noisy waterpump and notchy gearchange. Things are looking up now so hopefully ill get it back to the way it should be soon.

Top change, looks great
-
Looks better, would look even better without those mudflaps though.
-
looking good
-
Still dont know whether to remove them mudflaps or leave them on.
-
Looks good, I'd see if you can get the wheel weights put on the inside, some animal has put steel wheel weights on an alloy wheel.
It'll stop the edges of your wheels getting knackered.
-
remove mud flaps and fit some 16v smoked rear lights.
+ check you tracking and tyre pressure. looks miles better
-
if they are genuine one ill be interested
