Are the NA cloth seats different to ours?
-
yes there more like normal golf seats with less bolster supports, there for the larger individual
-
Yeah, I wish we had your version of the cloth seats here... sooooooooomuch nicer. I'll be getting the smoked side markers soon, not a fan of the orange either

LMAO  I didn't know they got fat seats across the Pond
-
The seats have been designed for substantial German bottoms too, so there should be no difference in squab size.

Don't like the seats but the gearknob is superb
-
Good lord, you are right Snoops!
That must be a super-sized arse to fit snugly into that space!
The fabric though nice enough would probably look better as a table cloth.
PS: Like the knob but not the squab!
-
look what showed up in the mail  not sure why I got 2 but iI'm not complaining

Sadly not, Darren was gonna do it 12th June but I will be at work. At the end of the month I am away for 2 weeks, so we've set a date for early July to get them done.
Where's the pics of yours then?

+ 1 for the what is a fast question
but also why is your golf missing the front splitter? have you had it removed for painting or do Canadian golfs not come with them.

Sorry for going off topic
Penguin, I see from your signature that torque.it remapped your golf. They had brochures in my dealers which actually looked like the dealer was endorsing them. Do you know if the have a website or details somewhere online as I've never been able to find them.

I don't know if they have a site. I gave the guy a call. He came out the next night and did it. I got it Rolling roaded and it was spot on the money for what he quoted. Plus it was half the price of things like superchips and revo. Plus the guy who rolling roaded my car ( despite the fact he was a superchips agent) said he was very impressed with the map.
I would thoroughly recommend them and they have been in contact since offering advice and checking it is going well. Give him a call
Apologies for stealing you topic... we are finished here I promise

The Fast was based on an ad campaign that VW had for the launch of the 2006 GTI

Looks good.
Did the old one come off easily? Was the clip very stiff?
I have bought an Ed30 shifter (beautiful but too expensive) and I am terrified that the trim can get damaged during installation.
-
It was actually very easy to remove, I followed this DIY on Vortex (altough I have no idea how that guy managed to stab himself with a screwdriver )

Thank you very much for your detailed reply.
PS: My Ed30 version is the complete shift with the red stitching on the gaitor so a bit less complicated.
