Title: Hello all...

Had my 98 Mk3 for just over a year now...only got 42k on the clock which i think is quite rare??!!  Trouble is it needs a new alarm immobiliser and remote locking system as had some problems with the electrics( ie alarm going off in the middle of the night!), dunno weather to sell it or get it fixed as is a lovely car...any advice guys??

welcome, might aswell try fixing it, ide post a topic in the vdub related section because most people dont check in here, this is the first time ive been in here apart from when i made a hello all thread :)

Hi, welcome to the site, I'd say fix and keep for sure, 42k!  The mk3 GTI I had last year had 170k on it and still plenty of life left  :smiley:
