Im Waheed from Nottingham,

im 24 years old and just in the process of buying a dark green mk3 Golf gti 8v, its got 83,000 miles on the clock,
but i dont know what to look out for when i go to view it.
im loving the site and you guys seem very nice and helpful,
its my first vw, before this i only have british and japanese cars.

She says the car goes in each gear fine BUT
she also describes that it makes a funny noise when put in reverse?
Is this a sign of the gearbox out on its way?
