At the request of Sir Neil of Tornado Red GTI
Still some work to do on the tailpipe design/fitment but here's some pic's of my Revo / Blueflame Turbo Back system

The system was very hot at this stage so sticks out much further than normal

Really really impressed with the system so far, the quality of the metalwork and welding is top notch, and as for the sound
There is no getting away from it, it's a loud system, but even for me the important part on the bulk on the daily commute on the motorway there is no drone :star:
The idle purrrrr noise, overrun popping and DSG burp are most definitely my favorite parts systems character
-
ah ha nice one steve
-
It looks very, very fast.
BUT, what is the ride like overall on our bad roads and at 70-80 mph is it noiser due to the bigger wheels +t yres and the louder exhaust note?
-
So you have to make adjustments after its up?
All the catbacks I have installed once there hung they are good to go??

This is a the first version of the Revo BlueFlame system so has got to have some revisions done to the tail pipes before it's released to the market.
So like any other system should not normally require adjustment after fitting
-
Got a be a nutter to spend all that wonga on new mk6!! Sounds like you have an awsome motor there!! Enjoy it , it would have me smilling all day somthing like that
-
Looking good and no fugly silencer box showing under the rear diffuser
Tailpipes need fitting further back and jet cut and that'll look the business, is it resonated and high flow cat ?
At the request of Sir Neil of Tornado Red GTI
-
That's the idea for the tailpipes.
Yes it's a 100 cell high flow cat with a resonator section

Looks like the sort of system that i have been waiting for

What is the diameter of the tailpipes?

look like 100mm to me
-
Great stuff SteveP!!
Most importantly you seem to be happy its making all the right noises which is the most important thing! i was hoping the tails would fit into the square-ish shape of the rear defuser.... have seen a picture of a GTI with ones like this before but never managed to find it again :undecided:
-
That reg plate is worth money to the Man city player
-
Very nice

If you dont mind me asking mate how much did you pay?
Also are u located anywhere near the midlands, Would love to hear it was thinking about that myself. I think an upgraded intake and exhaust and possibly an upgraded fuel pump is defo on the cards 4 me in the near future.
-
Final prices are to be confirmed, but will be similar to the standard blueflame system I would have thought.
I am near Northampton if you every want to hear the system.
Also for the Mk6 TSI engine you won't be needing a fuel pump upgrade like the Mk5 as it's been redesigned and is more than upto the job needed for the current turbo :nerd:

Hi Steve,
This is the exact turbo back system i ordered up, just its not the REVO, just Blue Flame one. Whats the difference mate? Spoke to AWESOME GTI and they said the system had been fully designed and ready to go from Blue Flame.

Lovely car there Steve

Drivers seat frame badly creaking and the seat back not holding position when left for a few hours.

thats a strange one, enjoy your courtesy Polo
Must be the extra power, the seat can't take it

So the frame of the seat has come under stress... to the point of cracking. :undecided:
And the seat back has weakened in rigidity...
What do you get up to in your driver's seat Mr Steven?
(Is that not what the back seats are for?)
BTW the exhausts look cracking. Gives the rear end a nice bit of subtle aggression.
