Title: wing wirror question

after  the wife managed to do a bit of wing mirror jousting with a parked car i have a question, when i went to take the craked mirror off there is two crimped wires running to it. i dont think its anything to do with the mirror motors, i thought maybe it could be for heated mirrors, which i didnt know i had! is it possible the wiring loom is fitted as standard with or without heated mirrors.

oh and its an annivesarry model,

I would suggest that you have heated mirrors .

Yep that will be the heated mirrors, which work off the rear window demister switch

Hi brains - not heard much from you lately!

Def heated mirrors. Sounds as if your car had a mirror replacement sometime in the past and they didnt fit the heated mirror. probs coz it cost more!

You may want to try a more reputable dealer, like GFS or euro car parts rather than halfords mate!

just been to halfords and guess what,
they only have stick on replacement mirrors :angry:

looks like gfs will be getting a bit of work after all :grin:

Not sure where you are situated but i would give car transplants a go matey they are based in mid cheshire but they do mail order etc, and have a website, just do a google for them.
